Cyndi Freeman (storyteller, actress, comedian, and teacher): With 12 years of experience as a storytelling instructor, Cyndi is an award-winning performer who has presented solo shows at festivals around the world. As a storyteller, her credits include performing stories on RISK! The Moth and WGBH's Stories from The Stage. As a stand-up comic she has opened for Janeane Garofalo and Norm McDonald. Her television credits include HBO's Campus Comedy, Showtime's Compromising Situations and Comedy Central's The Colbert Report. As her alter Cherry Pitz, she also produces, writes and hosts Hotsy Totsy Burlesque: New York’s longest running (15 years) Nerd themed Burlesque show.
