A veteran improviser and comedic performer, Cate Smit has brought her sharp wit to stages from Carolines and Stand-Up NY to the Luna Lounge and LA's Luna Park. She's a in New York's improv scene; an original member of The Heartless Floozies, she also performed on the road alongside Gotham City Improv, Chicago CIty Limits, and TheatreSports
Her improv chops and comedic timing have landed her roles across film and television, national commercials and voice overs including No Hard Feelings, Hustlers, The Detour, Paul Blart: Mall Cop and Comedy Central's The President's Show. She's a seasoned sketch performer with credits on The Onion News Network (IFC) and The Onion Online, and has appeared on Late Night with David Letterman in various comedic roles.
Cate works regularly in the nonprofit world as a renowned Charity Auctioneer and coaches executives at presenting and pitching.
