I've spent more than 30 years producing shows and developing comedians in New York. Most comics don't stall for lack of talent. They stall because nobody is helping them make the big calls: which jokes to keep, when the tape is good enough, which festivals are worth the money, when they're really ready to audition.
The comedians who break through have someone in their corner making those calls with them, and enough stage time to act on them. This year I'm offering both to three people. I'm keeping it to three because this kind of attention doesn't scale.

Ten minutes a month on MCS-produced shows in rooms including Rodney's, Comic Strip Live and Bill's Supper Club. Every set is taped and reviewed with you.
A pro writing team
Notes from Andy and a team of working comedians on structure, delivery, sequencing, openers and closers.
Headshot session and live stills
A professional headshot session for club and festival submissions, plus stills from your sets for social and press.
2 MCS classes and industry guidance
Two classes of your choice, plus booker etiquette and, when your work is ready, introductions to managers and industry contacts.
3 private coaching hours
One-on-one sessions with Andy and professional comedians, focused entirely on your act.
Why no-bringer stage time matters
A typical NYC bringer spot means asking five friends to come out and spend around $225 on tickets and drink minimums. Over 12 monthly sets that's about $2,700, and 60 favors you don't have to ask for. Your friends can still come; they just don't have to.

Assessment and first set
Once your spot is confirmed, we schedule your assessment and your first set.
Missed or canceled sets can be made up within the program year. Enrollment closes when the three spots are filled.
We reserve the right to refund and move someone out of the program at any time for any reason. After the fit call, no refunds, no exchanges, no cancellations.
